Cheri creates unusual shaped textile fiber art quilts adding dimension and interest with the use of fabric textures, beads, fibers, crystals and found objects. She is inspired by the world around her and creates original one of a kind works of art.

Her textile fiber art has been accepted in numerous special exhibits and shows throughout the US where she has won several awards for her unusual original art pieces.

She belongs to two fiber quilt art groups-“Unraveled Fiber Artist” and “Rambling River Art Quilters”, their traveling textile fiber art group projects are on display at several venues in the USA. They have won multiple awards and received special recondition for their fiber quilt art projects.

Cheri’s fiber art is featured in private collections throughout the USA and in Japan.  She has been the featured guest speaker at numerous quilt guilds where she presents her lectures on quilt documentation and designing Art Quilts. She has been a guest speaker on TV Channels 9 & 5 in the Kansas City area for “What’s the Secret” quilts.  Cheri is also an educator teaching fiber art classes in the Kansas City area.
